MPavilion X Conversations of Light
Public Event: January 2019
We are obsessed by daylight. How does light enhance our experience of architecture? And how does architecture respond to and affect our experience with light? Ephemeral conditions with which we engage – conscious or not.
On a delightful summer morning, we led a public discussion of daily interactions with light; curating an experienced panel of designers and architects to join us – Phoebe Whitman, David Poulton and Blair Smith – all equally fascinated with the topic. Discussion was followed by a meditative, site-responsive drawing workshop with an aim to evoke a sense of wonder into the everyday.
